HVAC

HVAC:

  • Supply should be in the shadow gap (hidden as much as possible).

  • Return diffusers should also be concealed as much as possible; if not feasible, follow Jenga project details.

  • Unless otherwise requested by the client, each room should have its own thermostat control, especially when different individuals, including staff, are living in separate areas of the house. The chosen system should be designed to accommodate this. Additionally, maintenance accessibility and the length of the copper pipes should be carefully considered.

  • JB (Junction Box) units indicated in electrical drawings is required for all indoor AC machines.

  • All Drawings for indoor AC machine should be mentioned in the Drainage drawings for efficient coordination.

  • Ask mechanical engineer the AC Machine Company, load, and size of the machine to determine the Parapet height.

VRF System VS DX Units:

  1. Less Outdoor Machines

  2. Same number of indoor machines as per DX units

  3. Less Power Consumption (25% less)

  4. Central Control (touch screen: ipad)

  5. Height = 1.75 including Base / 6- Double Price

  • AC machines drainage on the upper roof: Package unit needs drain point (to be connected to the nearest floor drain), meanwhile external Split unit machines don't need drain points (only the internal units located above ceiling have drain points).

Pre-insulated Ducting:

Internal Duct Works

  • PIR (BS 476 Part 6 & Part 7 with Class O rating)

  • Phenolic – UL 181 listed

  • Antimicrobial Coated special duct system for clean room & Hospitals

Detailed Specification

Properties

The Kingspan PalDuct PIR System comprises Kingspan PalDuct PIR Panels, which are faced on both sides with an aluminium foil.

The core of Kingspan PalDuct PIR Panels is a rigid thermoset polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulant.

The minimum density of Kingspan PalDuct PIR Panels is 45 kg/m3, when tested to EN 1602: 2013.

The thermal conductivity (λ-value / k-value) of Kingspan PalDuct PIR Panels is quoted as: 0.022 W/m.K @10Oc, when tested to ASTM C518 - 17/21.

Kingspan PalDuct PIR System is manufactured to the highest standards under a management system certified to ISO 9001: 2015 (Quality Management System), ISO 14001: 2015 (Environmental Management System), ISO 45001: 2018 (Occupational Health and Safety Management System).

The manufacturing plant is accredited to ISO 37301:2021 (Compliance Management System), ensuring adherence to rigorous standards of governance, risk management, and compliance throughout the production process.
