Lighting:

  • In lighting selection, ensure the size of the lighting fixture above the ceiling does not exceed 7-8 cm.

  • Ensure that the strip light is continuous and not interrupted by any objects or obstructions that cause it to appear, stop, and then appear again

  • The LED should be concealed, with the main goal being that the light source is not visible.

Ceiling:

  • Width of ceiling groove for AC supply depends on length of the AC Supply and also on AC linear requirements which means 1 slot is equal to 2.5cm to 3 cm, 2 slots is equal to 5cm to 6cm.

  • Avoid having AC supply in cove including a curtain.

  • Standard size of ceiling Access Panels are 60x60cm square.

  • If sigma parapet, use 3mm thick rust-free aluminum sheet (pre-fabricated and powder coated flashing – double purpose)

  • All windows must include drip moulds.

  • Avoid spotlights in coves where there are curtains.

  • Avoid having spots too close to the walls

RCP:

  • We can use woven wire drapery as a replacement for grating mesh in basement parking; grating mesh remain option 1.

Staff Bedroom:

  • Keep 5 cm in front of a window, and locate the curtain's location.

  • Keep 90 cm in front of the wardrobe.

  • Use a bigger bed block wider than 90 cm.

General Notes:

  • The hood should be designed for 3000 CFM, with a duct size of 1x1 meter.

  • Study curtains in all spaces

HVAC SUPPLY 5CM GAP IN CEILING:

  • Conclusion of a meeting with E. Romeo, Ridhima, Walid, M.Salah, Tohami, Alaa & M. Hesham; All agreed that detail (A) is more efficient than detail (B)
    Detail (A) shall be followed in all the projects until further notice and must be coordinated with Structure beams
